The below image is of a 110 tonne hook that was made by Reliance Hexham at our Hexham NSW Australia facility. A customer of Reliance Hexham was originally purchasing their hooks internationally although the delivery time was estimated to be a minimum of 9 months. With current delivery difficulties, this would certainly be more now.
This customer chose to look within Australia for these hooks to be made. Reliance Hexham had 4 tradesman that had previous experience in making these hooks whilst working as Blacksmiths at Newcastle BHP. These tradesman are familiar names, Ian Tresidder, Neil Brooks, Darren Grant and Peter Aitchison, who continue to work for Reliance Hexham.
These hooks were made for the company in under 6 months. This is inclusive of proof loading and supplying NATA certification for proof loading and magnetic particle testing.
